 When it comes to cosmetics, I consider myself an authority.

For a long time growing up I was a tomboy and my appearance was the last thing on my mind. As I started to become a young woman I began to realize that appearance is in fact everything. Before I started wearing makeup I spent a great amount of time researching different products and cosmetic techniques. I didn’t want to put something on my skin without knowing what I was actually doing.

My research was not only beneficial for me but others as well. Not only can I do my makeup really well I can do others as well. I also help those who don’t know much about cosmetics find what products they should use for their skin type and shade.

Most people may not consider cosmetics to be a very important subject to be knowledgeable about, but as a person who use to be very insecure and have low self-esteem about their appearance I think it’s amazing. It’s amazing what a new skin care routine and a little lip gloss can do to your self-esteem, so I made it my duty to learn all I can so I can spread my knowledge.

My love for cosmetics has changed who I am, I not only love myself with a face a full of makeup but also when I have none on at all. I plan to start my own cosmetics line in the near future that’ll be geared towards young women who need to learn their selves a little more. My Most Cherished Memory at Texas State

My journey here at Texas State has been one I will remember and keep for the rest of my life. Although, my college career didn’t start here, I still consider myself a native to San Marcos. I started here at the end of my sophomore year and I still had some hours I needed to complete to become a junior. I instantly fell in love with campus and the environment around it. I definitely found my niche here at Texas State. There are so many amazing memories I’ve experienced here and to pick just one has been a challenge. Blog #4 - Personal Hobby

I don't have hobbies, really. I mean, I used to collect Pokemon cards back in the day, but I stopped after I became a first-generation Pokemon Master . By the time I got to high school, I started to focus on being a social butterfly. After high school however, I was blessed by the greatest invention to ever grace the airwaves. RuPaul's Drag Race premiered in 2009. I got to see what drag is and could be. Here in Texas, pageant style drag is everywhere and prominent. But with RPDR , I got see how many different styles of drag there is. Punk, goth, realness, showgirl, spook, camp and comedy are just a few styles that exist within the drag world.
